National - Approved by the All India Council of Technical Education of the Government of India (AICTE) for offering postgraduate courses in management at the MBA level.
- Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, AICTE.
International - Collaboration with the University of Antwerp & ongoing exchange programme.
- Secondment of three students from GIM to Antwerp for one semester.
- Secondment of one faculty from GIM to the University of Antwerp for a course on International Marketing and one faculty from the University of Antwerp to GIM for a course on International Marketing.
- Secondment of 15 students from Antwerp to GIM to conduct a project study in various industries in Goa, jointly with some students of GIM and to present the report to the University of Antwerp.
- Collaboration with the Fachhochschule Ingolstadt, Germany:An agreement has been reached to consider each other as an associate Institute with faculty and student exchange for one term. There is also an exchange of faculty in an agreed subject.

Mention the admission test being followed, name and address of the Test Agency and its URL (website).Applicants seeking admission to GIM’s post graduate programme in business management 2010-12 are required to take the admissions test of XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur) scheduled for 3rd January 2010 on http://www.xlri.edu - Number of seats allotted to different Test Qualified candidates CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET, ATMA, CET, JEE (State conducted tests / University tests).
All the students joining GIM are shortlisted based on XAT score only.

- Last date for request for applications.
Online registration to GIM closes on 31st December 2009.

Payment advise form along with the demand draft should reach GIM by 2nd January 2010.
- Dates for Group Discussion (GD) / Interviews
Selection of students i.e. group discussion and personal interview to be held around February/March 2010.

| IX. CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION |

The final selection is based on XAT score (50% weightage), the candidate’s past academic performance (10% weightage), performance in group discussion and individual interview (30% weightage) and work experience (10% weightage)
(These were the respective weightages that were taken into consideration for selection of students for 2009-2011 batch)
- Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any, for any criteria.
For selection for Group Discussion and Individual Interview, the qualifying cut-off XAT score will be lowered by 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin. - Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores (section-wise and/or total as case may be) of the candidates in the admission test who are called for GD/ Interview.Mention last two years cut-off percentage & percentile (section-wise and/or total as the case may be) of the candidates called for GD / Interview.
