Deepti Mohan

Profile & History

Dr. Deepti Mohan is an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology and Operations Management Area at the Goa Institute of Management. She holds a PhD in Operations and Decision Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

She completed her MBA from Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, and her BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut, where she secured First Rank in the university.

Before entering academia, she gained corporate experience with Cognizant Technology Solutions and CRISIL Global Research and Analytics.

Her research focuses on the development of mathematical models and efficient solution methodologies for complex operations and logistics problems. Her principal research interests include combinatorial optimization, warehouse operations, manufacturing systems, mathematical programming, metaheuristics, large-scale optimization, and operations research.

Her teaching interests include managerial statistics, quantitative methods, operations research, operations analytics, data analysis, mathematical modelling, and optimization.
