Mauli Soni
Profile & History
Dr. Mauli Soni is a faculty member in Marketing at the Goa Institute of Management. Her teaching and research interests span services marketing, international marketing, marketing strategy, digital platforms, firm capabilities, sustainability, and consumer behaviour. Her current research examines themes such as quick commerce, service evaluation, capability asymmetry, ESG performance, and the strategic consequences of marketing investments. She has developed and implemented experiential and technology-enabled pedagogies, including industry visits, data-based classroom activities, simulations, and interactive learning tools. Her academic work has been presented and developed for leading international journals and conferences.
Beyond teaching and research, she has led institution building initiatives on sustainable events, including the development of a structured data pipeline, dashboard, and SOPs for tracking event-level sustainability performance, and has facilitated stakeholder adoption through workshops and sensitisation.
