Achiever’s Category: A Pathway to Success
Achiever’s Category provides a unique admissions route for candidates with exceptional achievements in areas like sports, performing arts, and significant work experience. This round allows students to showcase their unique accomplishments and, if selected, stand a chance to receive a spot offer. Dr. Rajpal explained that candidates who perform exceptionally well in the interview may receive an immediate offer, subject to meeting certain test scores.
Academic and Extracurricular Balance: Candidates with notable achievements at the national level in sports or arts, for instance, could offset a less competitive academic record.
Work Experience as a Strength: For programs such as BFS (Banking and Financial Services), relevant work experience strengthens a candidate’s profile and may increase their chances of selection.
Achiever’s Edge: Selected candidates in Achiever’s Category are assessed based on their personal interview performance, where they have a chance to demonstrate their alignment with GIM’s values and goals.
