Anshul Aggarwal
History & Profile
Dr. Anshul Aggarwal is an Assistant Professor at the Goa Institute of Management.
Dr. Anshul holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. His area of research is international trade and firm performance. He primarily works on firm/plant-level data, such as the Annual Survey of Industry to analyze firm performance. He is an M.B.A. graduate in international business from Jamia Millia Islamia, a Central University in New Delhi, and a graduate in Business Economics (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. He also holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance from IIBF, Mumbai.
Prior to joining academics, he worked with KPMG as a senior analyst on their research team. He has undertaken consulting and research projects for startups, MNCs, NGOs, and government departments such as UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation), Financekaart, and Nielsen. He had a short stint with organizations such as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd; Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GoI; AON Hewitt; Consumers India; and Plan India.
He teaches Economics (Micro and Macro), Strategy Management, and other elective subjects at the confluence of economics and strategy, such as Business Consulting, Economics of strategy, etc.
