Israel Fortin
Profile & History
Dr. Israel Fortin is an Assistant Professor of OB&RM at the Goa Institute of Management, having previously held a similar position for four years at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He specializes in multilateral project management in international ecosystems, and currently studying the collaboration between the formal and informal sectors in plastic recycling in India.
He previously studied digitalization projects in port logistics during a postdoctoral assignment at the Rotterdam School of Management and holds a PhD in Management from HEC Montreal. His PhD thesis concerned multilateral innovation in aerospace and his ongoing work focuses on the study of collaborative innovation, temporary organizing, and logic hybridization, utilizing qualitative methods that include verbal, textual, and visual analysis.
