Pranusha Kulkarni

History & Profile

She is a Ph.D. from IIM Ahmedabad, where she studied the justice effects of renewable energy transition policies in India. She is a UGC-JRF in Law (2017), and a gold medallist in LL.M. in Access to Justice at TISS Mumbai.  
During her PhD, she was awarded two fellowships - the Research and Writing Fellowship by the Just Transition Research Centre (JTRC) at IIT Kanpur (2023-2024); and the India Tech Policy Fellowship (2024-2025) by Pacific Forum – a US-based foreign policy think tank.
She has previously taught undergraduate law students at Tamil Nadu National Law University, Trichy (TNNLU Trichy) and MPP students at National Law School of India University, Bengaluru (NLSIU Bengaluru). 
Her research interests span across the interface of technology, politics, business, and sustainability; and her teaching interests include Legal aspects of Business, Public Policy, and Sustainability transitions.
