History & Profile

Dr. Jagannath obtained his doctoral degree (PhD) in the area of Finance and Accounting from the Indian Institute of Management Indore. He is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) and Company Secretary. He has worked in banking sector prior for nine years (public sector and private banks) before pursing PhD. His research interests lie in bankruptcy and financial distress, banks, corporate governance. He has published in ABDC indexed journals and has published a case study with Ivey Publishing. He has also presented papers in several conference of national and international repute. He is also a member of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) and the Indian Finance Association (IFA).
