BITATHON:   Stages and Timelines

Round 1 -  (Start Date: January 21,  2023, 12:01 AM IST,   End Date  January 22, 2023, 11:59 PM IST) ONLINE

The first round will be an online test between January 21, 2023, and January 22, 2023. Each team member has to appear for the test individually. Each member needs to clear the cut-off to get selected for Round 2. The round will be the basis of elimination for the second round. The candidates will be assessed based on their knowledge in aptitude, Base SAS, data science and statistics.

Results will be declared through personal emails individually.

 
Round 2 - (Start Date  February 17,  2023, 12:01 AM IST,  End Date February 18,  2023, 11:59 PM IST) AT GIM, GOA

This round will be a 24 hours hackathon between the 17th and 18th of February, 2023, at GIM, Goa. The round will be the basis of elimination for the third round. The problem statement will be released by SAS on the day of the hackathon. The coding language or platform to tackle the problem statement is at the discretion of the participants. The teams will be required to submit their code, report in a Word document, and a PowerPoint presentation for the jury members.


Round 3 - (Start Date:         19 Feb 23, 12:01 AM IST,                 End Date:  19 Feb  23, 07:47 PM IST) AT GIM, GOA

Round 3 of the hackathon will be a presentation on 19th February 2023 at GIM, Goa. Shortlisted teams would have to give a 15-minute presentation of their findings and solutions before the jury members.

BITATHON is a Data Analytics and Mining Championship hosted by the Big Data Analytics fraternity of the Goa Institute of Management in association with SAS. This hackathon is open to graduate and postgraduate students across India who are passionate about data crunching, data manipulation, and analysis. The event encourages young minds to take up challenging data problems and tackle them meticulously.

●    Cross-college team formation is permitted.

Accommodation:  Free accommodation & food will be available for BITATHON Rounds 2 & 3 ( February 17-19, 2023) at GIM, Goa Campus. 

BITATHON Gala Dinner:  The dinner and musical events can provide an excellent opportunity to chat and have a good time with fellow students from across the country, together with our guests, on February 18, 2023, at GIM, Goa Campus.
