Dr. Lakshmi Vishnu Murthy Tunuguntla is a distinguished academic leader and global industry expert with over 38 years of experience, recognized for driving institutional transformation, global accreditations, and large-scale business impact. At Goa Institute of Management, he successfully led end-to-end accreditation journeys for AACSB (USA), AMBA/BGA (UK), NBA (India), and SAQS (Asia), and advanced the institution to the second stage of EQUIS (Europe), achieving multiple global accreditations within a record 4–5 years. Notably, he revived and secured AACSB accreditation post-withdrawal, demonstrating exceptional strategic leadership and execution excellence.

He has built robust Assurance of Learning (AoL) systems, designed academic governance frameworks, and introduced forward-looking curricula in AI, Blockchain, IoT, and AR/VR, significantly enhancing academic quality and global positioning.

In his industry career, he led multi-time-zone, multi-continent transformation programs across the USA, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, India, and the Middle East, working with leading organizations such as State Farm Insurance (USA), the World Bank (Washington DC), and Dongbu Insurance (South Korea). His contributions in IT governance, CMMI, ITIL, and ISO frameworks consistently delivered measurable improvements in quality, risk management, and business value.
