He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2016, conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, securing an All India Rank of 17, and later the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in 2019 with an All India Rank of 1.
During his doctoral studies, he received multiple Best Paper Awards at various economics and public policy conferences. He was awarded the Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) Award for the Best Thesis Proposal at IIM Ahmedabad, as well as the Prof. Tirath Gupta Memorial Award for the Best Thesis.

He has also served as a consultant to University College Dublin, PRADAN, and Indian School of Development Management.
His research interests include spatial economics, applied spatial econometrics, productivity analysis, environmental economics and climate change. 

His teaching interests include Microeconomics, Applied Econometrics, Environmental Economics, Sustainable Business Practices and geospatial data analytics.
