He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and has completed all requirements except the viva voce. He also holds B.Sc. in Agriculture from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir (SKUAST-K), and a Master's in Agribusiness Management (Gold Medallist) from the ASPEE Agribusiness Management Institute, Navsari Agricultural University. He qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2016  conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Science with an All-India Rank of 17, and later the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) 2019 with an All-India Rank of 1. During his Ph.D., he received multiple Best Paper Awards at various conferences for presenting his research work. He was also awarded the Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) Award for the Best Thesis Proposal at IIM Ahmedabad.

His research interests include spatial economics, applied spatial econometrics, productivity analysis, environmental economics and climate change. 

His teaching interests include Research Methods, Environmental Economics, Sustainable Business Practices and geospatial data analytics.
