Dr. Veerma holds a doctorate in finance from the The Business School, University of Jammu. She has around eight years of experience of teaching at various B Schools. Prior to joining at GIM, she was associated with School of Business Management, NMIMS Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai.  Apart from above, she also had taught in different B schools like Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Nagpur, Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai and ICFAI Business School, Mumbai. 
Her research interests lie in the areas of Corporate Governance, Corporate Disclosures, Mergers and Acquisitions and Dividends. She has presented her research papers in various prestigious national and international conferences.  Her paper was selected as the Best paper award in the track at INDAM PAN IIM Conference held at IIM Rohtak, 2022.
Her teaching interest include Financial Accounting, Management and Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Valuation, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Financial Technology etc.
