Eligibility
Applications for Admission to FPM non-residential program are invited from post graduates with 10 years of work experience. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a further evaluation.
- A Master’s Degree / Equivalent in any discipline, with at least 60% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average along with 10 years of work experience
- Admission form & indication of research interest.
- Applicant needs to complete and submit the online FPMNR application form along with a statement of purpose and a brief research proposal.
Admission Process


Shortlisting
Based on the Statement of the Purpose, research proposal, research interest and relevant work experience, candidates will be called for an interview for final selection. Interviews would be conducted online.

Academic Research
Individuals with an interest in knowledge creation to advance different management disciplines.
Corporate Research
Individuals with vast industry experience, focusing on consumer studies, market evaluation, and other such.
Consulting Experience
Individuals with experience in managing funded public and private projects, etc.

What is the duration of the Fellow Programme in Management Non Residential (FPMNR) programme?
4 years (extendable by 2 years with an additional fee).
What is the programme fee for FPMNR?
₹12,00,000 (paid in four instalments of ₹4L, ₹4L, ₹2L, ₹2L).
What are the SOP guidelines?
- Guidelines for SOP: Please upload a SOP of one page (about 500 words) Statement of Purpose (SOP) for applying to FPMNR programme at GIM. The broad headings for SOP may include your background, your reasons for pursuing FPM at GIM, and your career goals.
- Guideline for Proposal: The research proposal can be of about 2000 to 3000 words. The research proposal should state a research problem worth investigating in the given time frame. The research proposal should describe the snapshot of the broad research problem that you would be addressing during the FPM programme. Mention clearly the motivation for taking up this study, the methodology you would use to address it, and the potential contribution it would make to the larger body of research.
What is the mode of delivery for FPMNR?
Online classes: Saturdays & Sundays. Annual On-Campus Immersions: Two five-day immersions or one ten-day immersion every year
Can I assist in on-going research now?
FPMNR students are expected to conduct research to develop their skills and can assist faculty to gain from their experience.
